Ninja TK Dark is technically the first ninja figure sold online for Ashley Wood’s Tomorrow King series in ThreeA. He is part of the Underverse line along side Shosuke and Kozo. Pre-order sale was on 27th of July 2014.
At first during preview, Ninja TK Dark didn’t seems to be a well-liked figure, design and accessory-wise he is lacking then but on-hand the figure is really a solid one.
A very simple TK figure with a new head sculpt and an unlikely weapon, but his simplicity makes him a nice figure to have. Along side his Underverse colleagues (Kozo & Shosuke) he really fits well.
So here is the Ninja TK Dark from the Underverse!
Ninja TK Dark is packaged in a shoebox, a standard with TK figures.
The design is almost the same with Shosuke & Kozo.
Ninja TK Dark comes with a nodachi (big japanese sword), a scarf, and a white mask. I rarely use the white mask because it really makes the figure weird, imo. The suit is very nice (even the cheap-looking shirt), it makes him a good post-apocalyptic character.
The new head-sculpt is very well done, it compliments the ninja-theme of the figure.
Cons:
- The white mask is really useless and it makes the figure look cheap. Better to hide it and not use it at all.
- The accessory is lacking, a couple of shuriken and an extra katana is needed.
Pros:
- The new head-sculpt is very nice, and really fits well with the ninja figure.
- The standard TK shoes are back!
- Details and weathering is well done, as usual.
- A Ninja TK at last!
Value:
- $120, okay, but lacking accessories
Overall:
- "Ninja TK Dark is a very nice addition for my Tomorrow King collection. He fits well alongside Underverse TKs Kozo & Shosuke. As a single figure, posing and displaying him is fun. The price of the figure is kinda high right now because maybe only few bought it or he is really a good figure to keep."
